Thinking that this 10km run is only my 3rd one and the last one being 3 years ago, I'm glad that I can finish it though. A better timing this time round!!
The run was fine but I've got some accumulated blood under my toe nail after I've completed the run. A reminder to myself to not wear new shoes to run. Probably my feet aren't comfortable with the shoes yet.

Anyway congratulations to my colleagues, Mariam and Noraisah, for their marriages. Mariam's one was on 31st October while Noraisah's one was last night.
It was my first time attending 2 weddings in 2 weeks. :) Hope you girls enjoy your marriage life!

I'm making plans to go S.Korea again next March before I start school in April. Enjoy before I suffer in school! Haha :))

Till then!

Hi hi people!
Back from a long long time...
Work has been, as usual, sometimes good and bad.

Nothing special has happened so far this year that is worth talking (to be honest); only that my Sister has agreed to let me apply for Advanced Diploma in Perioperative Nursing. I requested to go for next year's batch instead because NYP is just too far for me. But that is just part of the reason. I feel that I need to gain more experience before going for the diploma.

On a side note, seeing my batch mates in the wards getting promoted really makes me feel jealous. But to think about it, being a SSN in OT or being a senior in that sense, means you need to be a solo staff and that means you are no longer a tag-along staff for EOT. My batch mates in my discipline are not even solo yet, what's more about me who has not reached the 4-year mark for promotion.

Another thing was that Dad has stopped working (retrenched to be exact) because his company decided to cease operations in Singapore. So his last working day was on 15th April.
That was a big blow to us in terms of finance especially, because this means I'm the sole breadwinner in the family. Tons of bills which are driving me nutsss.
But I feel safe that my dad is at home taking care of my mum while I work so I don't have to hire a maid or a caregiver for my mum. She can hardly walk now due to the pain in her lower limbs so my dad will help her in her ADLs, from brushing teeth to clearing the toilet.

Okay, enough of my family problem. I have some good news to share: I won 2 NDP tickets at Padang! It's on the actual day itself and it's Singapore's 50th birthday so it's very meaningful to win the tickets to watch the actual show.

Oh ya, I have also signed up for 2 runs this year after a 2-year hiatus from races (1-year hiatus if you include the Hello Kitty Run). Yellow Ribbon Run in September and Great Easter Women Run in November. It's been such a long time since I ran so wish me luck!

Hereby wishing all Muslims Selamat Hari Raya in advance!

Also wishing for South Korea to be free of MERS so I can go there again! X))
