Hi everyone!
I'm back for a post to update on my trip to Kimchi Land~

19092014 to 26092014 - A week to remember.

This also marks my first trip overseas with just me and my mum.

Dad was supposed to come with us but we cancelled his flight booking at the last minute due to work. He could have called his colleague to help him with the job for just that week while we were away. How is it that he's like the only one doing "Operations" in the whole company? Can't they just help?
Okay. I'm getting pissed off by them.

Anyway, I think I shall post the photos as I feel they speak more than I could describe.

Oh ya! Another thing to add, the power of Korean dramas could not be underestimated because I could speak to the locals using what I've learnt in those dramas! KDramas FTW!

Let the photo spamming begin!

Day 1-

Day 2- We went to MBC Dramia! After tons of historical dramas, I'd finally get to visit this place! Magnificent set by MBC where famous dramas like Dong Yi, Empress Ki and Moon that Embraces the Sun were filmed at location. It was so fun 'cause it's like reliving the moments seen in the dramas.

A photo of us en route to Dramia!

Reached!

This bridge can be seen in Empress Ki where Seung-nyang (Ha Ji Won) was thinking of Wang Yoo (Joo Jin Mo) when she's still a palace maid.

"Let me out! I'm innocent!"

The residence of Choi Dong Yi (Han Hyo Joo) in the show "Dong Yi".

Finally got to try on the hanbok! This hanbok was shown in "Dong Yi" where she became 승은상궁 and I'm sorry that I made this hanbok look bad. :/

Day 3- More exploring of filming locations!

This was where Hwan (Lee Seung Gi) and Eun-sung (Han Hyo Joo) had their first date in "Brilliant Legacy" at Ssamziegil, Insadong.

The supposed 'Jin Sung Seolleungtang' owned by Hwan's grandmother in "Brilliant Legacy".

On a closer look, the posters talking about the drama are still hanging up in the store.

As expected, Gyeongbok Palace is full of people.

And a kind ang moh helped us to take this photo at Gwanghwamun because I was struggling to open my tripod. :D

Gwanghwamun where was filmed.

Our dinner in a local eatery with wall menus all written in Korean. Luckily the ahjumma understands my learnt-from-drama korean! :D

Day 4- At last, it's shopping time!

Day 5- National Folk Museum and Myeongdong as well as some Chinese food after only a few days of Korean food. Mum couldn't take it and we had our first bite of Chinese food in Myeongdong where the Chinese food tastes better than what we cook.

Day 6- Star spotting at Incheon Int'l Airport and Namsan Tower! Ha Ji Won and Choi Ji Woo! Pretty unnies!

My camera couldn't do justice to the fantastic night view of Seoul.

I liked their Hanbok-styled apron but I didn't buy.

Mum's happily waiting for the food to arrive.

Jajjangmyun again but it's just too nice!

Last night in Seoul!

All in all, it was a unforgettable trip to Korea and guess what? I've already booked flights to Seoul this coming November! This time round with Dad! 2 trips in a year is a first for us and hopefully we get to see some snow while we're there cuz it'll be during the last week of November!

Can't wait!

Till then!
또 봐요! :D
